Our Theological Position
Tabernacle Divinity School is firmly rooted in the doctrine of Christianity, with the Sacred Scriptures (the Holy Bible) as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Bible is the foundation for our instruction, our worship, and the practice of the Christian faith. We affirm that to be Christian is to be united with Christ, anointed by His Spirit, and commissioned to participate in His work of redemption and reconciliation in the world.
While we do not require students to adopt a specific creed, we confess that salvation is found in Christ alone, by grace through faith, and that the Church is called to proclaim the gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18–20). We welcome students from diverse traditions and backgrounds, recognizing that such diversity reflects the richness of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12–27). This unity-in-diversity is divinely ordained to strengthen the Church, advance the mission, and glorify God in every generation.
